Custom-painted track

Painted to your house. Every wire hidden. Gone by daylight.

No cords down your fascia, no clips on your gutters, no strip of plastic along the roofline. That’s the whole point of paying for permanent instead of stringing lights every November.

Without track, the wire stays.

Clip-on systems fasten the cord straight to your soffit. In daylight that’s what you get — a line of wire and plastic clips across your trim, sagging a little further each winter. It doesn’t blend in and it doesn’t come down. You look at it every day for as long as the lights are up.

  • A permanent lighting cord clipped directly to a dark soffit, with white cord and white plastic clips clearly visible in daylight and sagging between fixings
    Clipped on

White cord, white clips, fastened straight to the soffit. It sags a little more every season, and it is the first thing you see from the driveway.

  • A roofline in daylight with lighting set into color-matched track — no cord, no clips, only the fixtures themselves are faintly visible
    In painted track

The same lights set into track sprayed to match the trim. Nothing runs across the soffit, because there is nothing left to run.

  • Painted to your soffit

Color-matched to your trim and sprayed before a single piece goes up.

  • Every wire hidden

Wiring runs inside the track and behind the soffit. Nothing exposed, nothing stapled to your fascia.

  • Invisible in daylight

From the street it reads as trim. Most people never spot it until it's on.

  • A Kussmaul Co. installer spray-painting a run of lighting track to match the home's white soffit before mounting it
    Painting the track to match
  • A Kussmaul Co. crew member spray-painting a masked section of lighting track to match tan siding, with the finished run above him already blended into the soffit and only its lit points visible
Mid-paint. The finished run above has already disappeared.
  • Soffit-mounted track at night, throwing even points of light down a brick entryway
    The same fixtures, lit

Still hanging lights every season?

Every year, the same ritual. Here’s what homeowners tell us they’re done with:

  • A weekend on a ladder every November, and another taking it all down in January
  • Storage totes of tangled strands that half-work next year
  • Rental or reinstall fees every single season, forever
  • Clips and staples that chew up your fascia
  • A dark house the other ten months of the year

The permanent upgrade to your home

A hidden track your home wears like trim, pro-grade LEDs built for Wisconsin winters, and every scene you’ll ever want already in your pocket.

  • Installed once, in a single dayA color-matched aluminum track fitted to your rooflines, wiring concealed, power engineered so every foot glows evenly.
  • Every season from your phoneWarm white on weeknights, team colors on Saturday, full holiday scenes in one tap. Schedules handle it while you live your life.
  • Backed in writingA lifetime warranty on lights and parts — their full 50,000-hour rated life — that transfers with the home, 1 year on workmanship, and a 30-day satisfaction guarantee.
The part nobody does the math on

Hiring it out every year costs more than owning it.

Most homeowners pay someone to hang lights in November and take them down in January, every year, forever. Here’s what that looks like next to a roofline that’s already there.

Most homes have paid for the install by their third or fourth season — and every night in between, the house is lit.

Not just the six weeks around Christmas. Warm white on an ordinary Tuesday, your colors on game day, and nobody on a ladder in December. Financing is available if you'd rather spread it monthly.

From first look to lights on

Three steps, most of it ours to do. Typical installs finish in a single day.

  1. 01

    Free digital design

Tell us about your home. We design the roofline plan digitally and walk you through it with a written quote.

  2. 02

    Single-day install

An insured two-person crew fits the track, engineers the power runs and conceals every wire. Most installs take 5 to 12 hours.

  3. 03

    Scenes, set for life

We configure your zones, schedules and first scenes together. After that, every season is one tap.
