What we do with your information
Short version: we use what you give us to get you a quote and do the job. We don't sell it. Last updated October 4, 2026.
Who we are

What we collect
When you ask for a quote or a free design, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property, and whatever you write in the message box. That is true whether you use the form on this site, a lead form in a Facebook or Instagram ad, or you call or text us.
If we design your lighting, we also take or use photos of the outside of your home. Those photos are used for your design and your quote.
Why we collect it
- To answer your request and put together your quote or design.
- To schedule the work and reach you on install day.
- To check in after the job, and to remind you when a warranty period is ending.
- To keep the records a business is required to keep.
Who sees it
Our own crew, and the services we use to run the business: email, scheduling, invoicing, and the tools that store customer records. If you reached us through a Facebook or Instagram ad, Meta holds the information you typed into that form under its own privacy policy as well as passing it to us.
We never sell your information, and we never hand it to another company to market to you.
Calls and texts
If you give us a phone number, we may call or text you about your request, your quote, or a job we are doing for you. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text and we will stop texting.
Right after you ask for a quote on this website, we send one automatic text from the owner’s phone. We never share your mobile number, or your consent to be texted, with anyone for their marketing or promotional purposes.
This website
The site uses basic visitor analytics so we know which pages people read, and advertising pixels from Meta so we can tell whether an ad brought you here. Neither one gives us your name. Your browser settings can block both.
How long we keep it
For as long as we are working with you, and afterward for as long as tax and business records require. Quote requests that never turn into a job are cleared out periodically.
Your choices
Ask us what we have on file, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email tressin@kussmaul.co or call (608) 247-6607 and we will take care of it. We may need to keep a copy of a completed invoice for our records.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. Anything that changes how we use your information, we will say so here plainly.
